Vaccinations continue to protect us throughout adulthood and can help prevent serious illness at every stage of life.

Shingles Turning 65 (born after 1 September 1958)

Travel vaccinations Travellers to certain countries

Many adult vaccinations are offered free on the NHS if you're eligible. If you're unsure about your eligibility, your GP surgery or pharmacy can advise you.

Getting vaccinated in Liverpool

You can usually get vaccinations through:

  • your GP surgery
  • participating community pharmacies
  • NHS vaccination clinics
  • your maternity service (during pregnancy)
  • community vaccination service 

If you missed a vaccination, contact your GP surgery or speak to your local pharmacy. 

Vaccinations in the community: Living Well Bus

The Living Well Bus brings health and wellbeing services directly into Liverpool communities, making it easier for residents to access vaccinations, advice and support closer to home.

Depending on the location and event, services may include:

  • flu and seasonal vaccinations
  • advice on recommended vaccinations and who is eligible
  • information on protecting yourself and your loved ones from diseases
  • signposting to local vaccination and healthcare services
