Eligibility criteria for help from Healthy Homes
You may qualify for a free ‘A’-rated boiler, under floor or cavity wall insulation if you have a combined household income under the Minimum Income Standard or receive one of the following welfare benefits:
- Child Tax Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Universal Credit
- Income Support (IS)
- Income-based Job Seeker's Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Pension Credit Guarantee Credit or both Guarantee Credit and Savings Credit
- Disability Living Allowance
- Personal Independence Payment Attendance Allowance
- Carers Allowance
In addition, one or more of the following must apply to you:
- You have a cardiovascular condition
- You have a respiratory condition
- You have a disability
- You have a mental health condition or learning difficulty that reduces your ability to self-care - this includes dementia
- You are aged 65 or over
- You live in a household with young children from new-born to school age
- You are pregnant
- You have a pre-existing chronic medical condition such as diabetes, stroke, suppressed immune system or a terminally illness
- You are housebound or have low mobility
- You have a child or children age five or under in the household
