What can I put in my purple bin?

Why was my purple bin not emptied?
These are the most frequent reasons our crews refuse to empty purple household waste bins.
- Do not put electrical items in the bin. Please book a bulky item collection or visit your local Household Waste Recycling Centre to dispose of electrical goods
- Do not put garden waste in the bin
- Do not overfill the bin
- Do not leave extra waste beside the bin

If you think we have missed your bin by mistake, you can report a missed collection online. When you report a missed bin, we will check our records and, if we have refused to collect it, we will tell you why.
