Opened in 1975, Springwood Crematorium is set within beautiful landscaped gardens including a woodland area and Baby Garden. It has two chapels — the Myrtle and Rosemary chapels. Services take place in both chapels every 30 minutes.

Options for remembrance after cremation at Springwood Crematorium
- Garden of Remembrance and Garden of Contemplation with approximately 90 Rose bed sections where you can scatter the ashes of a loved one.
- Woodland area and Baby Garden.

Attending an appointment
If you are attending an appointment for the scattering of a loved one's ashes or for a memorial, please go to the Book of Remembrance Room, where one of our team will meet you.
The Book of Remembrance room is located next to the Rosemary Chapel, where toilet facilities are also available.

Individual section maps showing exact cremated remains/ashes locations are not available for public use.
The Springwood Crematorium section map will help you find your way around and make it easier to find section locations, the Garden of Remembrance and each Rose bed section.

Parking
Parking is available at both Rosemary and Myrtle chapels. If services are taking place in both chapels, spaces may be limited.
Please allow sufficient time to arrive as cremation services cannot be delayed.
