Gambling licences and permits

The Gambling Act regulates all gambling in Great Britain, apart from the National Lottery and spread betting.

• Gambling premises Apply for a premises licence or temporary use notice, pay your annual fee and more.
• Gaming machine permits The council is responsible for issuing alcohol licensed premises, family entertainment centres, prize gaming and clubs.
• Small society lotteries Small society lotteries do not require a licence, but must be registered with the council.
