The council authorises the provision of facilities for gambling.

Where no licence is in force you may apply for a notice for gambling on your premises.

The council is responsible for issuing alcohol licensed premises, family entertainment centres, prize gaming and clubs.

These do not require a licence, but must be registered with the council.

The Gambling Commission grants licences for commercial gambling and certain lottery managers and promoters.

We are required by the Gambling Act to publish a statement of principles every three years.
