Update your contact details
Taxi drivers and proprietors must tell us if their name, email, phone number or address change. Find out why and how to tell us about a change.
Why we need you to update your details
You must make sure we have your up to date name, email, phone number and address details for the following reasons:
- Name — if you change your name, you must tell us. Your licence is a legal document in your name, so we need to make sure it is up to date.
- Email — so TaxiPlus can send you reminders to renew your licence or DBS Certificate via email. If your renewal application is delayed, you will not be able to work once your current licence expires. We no longer issue temporary licences.
- Phone number — so we can call you to discuss an application or any other issues such as complaints.
- Address — if you move, we need to reissue your licence with your new address on it for insurance and enforcement purposes.
How to notify us of a change
Changed your name?
If you have changed your name, you must email images of our deed poll certificate, and driving licence in your new name, to licensing@liverpool.gov.uk.
Changed your email address?
If you are a driver and have changed your email address, please use the form below to tell us and TaxiPlus so we can both update your details.

Changed your phone number?

Moved house?
If you have moved, please use the form below to tell us what your new address is.

When we receive your form, we will email you to request a copy of your updated driving licence and proof of your new address, dated within the past month.
We will then ask for payment of £20 for your duplicate licence and let you know where and when you can collect it. You must bring your old licence when you collect the new one.
