Care leavers – your relationships
We want you to have positive and healthy relationships with people that are important to you.
Your PA will help you stay in touch with the people who are important to you. Whether it's family, old friends or former care workers, they can help you make contact.
Lifelong links - reconnecting with family
Your PA can refer you to Lifelong Links. Lifelong Links will help you work out who you want to reconnect with and how.
They can then search for people you may have lost touch with. You may choose to hold a family group conference and bring family together. Your PA will support you with this too. Find out more about Lifelong Links (frg.org.uk).
Your PA can also help you get money for travel expenses to visit close family. We may also be able to help you meet the cost of travel to a place of worship on a special occasion.
