The Youth Guarantee Trailblazer Scheme offers 18 to 21-year-olds in the Liverpool City Region who are Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET) access to apprenticeships, training and employment support.

Liverpool City Council and local businesses are here to help you get into education, employment or training. We can give you:

employability and pre-employment support
creative engagement programmes
in-work support
dedicated SEND programmes
digital and financial inclusion support
mentoring for care-experienced young people
travel and equipment vouchers

'Your Next Steps' event 23rd September 2026

'Your Next Steps' is an event for young people aged 18-21 who are not in education, employment and training.

Come along to PINS Social Club, 45-61 Duke Street, L1 5AP, and meet our support partners dedicated to supporting you with exploration of education, training opportunities and employment opportunities.

This event is also a brilliant opportunity to meet our employers who have committed to providing a six-month paid opportunity for young people. Bring along your CV if you have a copy.

A free lunch, soft drinks and a game of bowling is all included in your ticket - completely free. Parents and carers of young people are also welcome to attend.

Wednesday 23rd September 2026 from 12pm-2pm: Main event. Book your main event ticket (eventbrite.co.uk) if you are coming along with friends, would like to bowl after meeting organisations and are happy to engage in a busier environment.
