Key statistics and data

Ward profiles

Following a Boundary Commission Review, Liverpool now has 64 electoral wards (an increase from the 30 wards we had previously).

A range of information for our new wards is summarised in an interactive report.

Much of the data has been calculated in-house, as published data is not currently available. As published information becomes available, the report will be revised.

What's in the report

The topics covered are:

  • Demographics
  • Business and economic growth
  • Community safety
  • Community environment
  • Democratic services
  • Deprivation and poverty
  • Education attendance and attainment
  • Environmental health
  • Health including mortality, life expectancy and obesity
  • Housing including council tax bands and tenure
  • Local services including GPs, schools and leisure
  • Universal credit and unemployment claimants

The profiles will evolve over time, new data will be added, and they will be routinely refreshed.

Using the ward profiles

A ward can be selected using the dropdown filter, above the map, on the report homepage.  Each topic shows results for the selected ward. Access a topic by clicking on the button on the report homepage. You can navigate through the report by using the arrows at the bottom of the report pages or the page navigation at the bottom of the report.
