Childcare Occupancy Termly Report
What is it?
The Childcare Occupancy Termly Report continues the work carried out in the Childcare Sufficiency Assessment.
It contains details about the number of Ofsted registered early year’s childcare places by ward and by day care type, childminders and day nurseries etc. It has the number of vacancies from which we equate the occupancy rate and it also contains information on the average cost of the different types of childcare. The report relies heavily on the cooperation of providers to keep us informed with their vacancies and costs.
The report consists of tables for ward comparison, a summary table and charts for each ward, maps of the different types of provision showing their occupancy by age and population tables by age up to 19.
