Elections 2nd May 2024

On Thursday 2nd May 2024 elections will be held for a Police and Crime Commissioner for Merseyside and a Mayor for the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. 

Standing as a candidate

If you are interested in standing as a candidate at either of these elections, please contact elections@liverpool.gov.uk for further information and a nomination pack. 

Completed nomination papers must be delivered by hand to the Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH between 10am and 4pm on any working day between Friday, 22nd March and Friday 5th April. Please note that they cannot be delivered on Friday 29th March 2024 or Monday 1st April 2024 as days are public holidays. 

Candidates who want to stand in either of these elections must pay a deposit of £5,000.
