The leaving care team will help you find a home when you leave care, and can also help if you find yourself homeless or at risk of homelessness.

Help with finding a home when you leave care

Your options may include:

• owning or renting our own home
• staying put with your foster carer
• moving into supported or semi-independent accommodation
• moving into specialist adult accommodation if you have additional needs

Help for homeless care leavers 

If at any time between the ages of 18 to 25 you become homeless, or are at risk of becoming homeless, we can help you if have:

• already left care and
• spent at least 13 weeks in care from the age of 14 and
• spent some time in care when you were aged 16 or 17
