Leisure and wellbeing

Bowling greens

Bowls is a game for all ages and levels, whether you’re an experienced bowler or a beginner who would like to try something new.

As well as the physical benefits of gentle exercise and improving coordination, the social aspect of the game improves mental wellbeing and community connectedness.

If you've never bowled before and it's something you'd like to try, we have 15 free greens across 7 venues in Liverpool.

Bowling green venues are listed below and you can drop in during the advertised hours to view facilities and speak to a member of the team to find out more. They'll be happy to speak to you about joining the club, taking part in casual bowling or new club formation.

Bowling season normally runs from April to mid-October, subject to change. New members and beginners are welcome at all clubs.
