Help for people with no recourse to public funds

Some people in Liverpool have immigration conditions that mean they cannot access public funds, such as most benefits or housing support. This is known as having no recourse to public funds, or NRPF.

We support residents with NRPF if we have a legal duty to do so. 

How to get support 

Our NRPF Pathway Team works with other council services such as adult social care, children’s social care and housing to support people in need.

Social care services decide if you qualify for support from the NRPF. They will make a referral to the NRPF Pathway Team if you do qualify.

In the first instance, please contact the social care services below:

• Adults who may need care or support should contact Adult Social Care.
• Families with children should contact Children’s Social Care.
