If you have submitted all the correct documentation with your application, your permit will be issued within 28 days. Please don't call to check on its progress. We reject applications if the required documents are missing.
Please note: The BQ (Business Quarter) refers to a small area within the Inner Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ). Residents in this zone can apply for a permit which allows parking between 5pm and 9am, Monday to Friday, and all day on weekends and Bank Holidays. Outside of these hours, pay-and-display charges apply. This reflects the principle of city-centre living, where access to daily amenities and public transport reduces the need to use a private vehicle. Visitor permits are not issued for this zone.
