Falkner Square is a garden that is valued both as a local neighbourhood park and a conservation feature representing one of the earliest public open spaces in the city.

Access to the park is via Canning Street, on the edge of the city centre.
The garden borders contain ornamental grasses, herbaceous plants, shrubs and trees of interest. It also includes colourful and scented plants which would have been exhibited in the nearby original Botanic Gardens.
