Notice of publication: Gambling Act Statement of Principles

The Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (England & Wales) Regulations 2006

On 27th November 2024, Liverpool City Council approved its Statement of Principles ('the statement') for 2025-2028 for publication under section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005.

The statement is published below and will have effect from 31st January 2025.

  The licensing authority (the council) is required by the Gambling Act to publish a statement of the principles which we propose to apply when exercising our functions in relation to gambling licences. It must be published every 3 years.

The current Statement, below, will remain applicable until 31st January 2025.
