County Children's Centre

We provide free weekly fun activities for parents, carers and their children and support and advice for families and expectant parents in the County, Walton, Vauxhall and Fountain areas.

If you've never used a children's centre before you'll need to register your details before accessing services. Complete your registration online or visit your nearest children's centre to register.

  • PEEP Stay and Play

    County Children's Centre

    A fun interactive play group for ages 0-5 to help prepare children for school.

    Monday 9.30am- 10.30am. Drop in.

  • Baby Sensory Group

    County Children's Centre

    Sensory themed activities, all play based to support development. For babies 0-12 months.

    Monday 1pm- 2pm. Drop in.

  • BAMBIS

    County Children's Centre

    Breastfeeding support and play sessions.

    Monday 2pm-3pm. Drop in.

  • Triple P For Baby 

    County Children's Centre

    Positive Parenting Programme promoting what influences babies’ development and behaviour.

    Tuesday 9.30am — 11.30am. Contact us to book. Eight-week course.

  • Confidence course

    County Children's Centre

    6-week course to build confidence and resilience. Creche is available.

    Tuesday 1pm-3pm. Contact us to book.

  • Nuture

    County Children's Centre

    Build your confidence in understanding your child’s social and emotional development including strategies to support routines and boundaries. 10 week course, creche available.

  • Toddler Yoga 2 years +

    County Children's Centre

    A fun interactive group helping children move their bodies and regulate their emotions. For toddlers aged 2+ years.

    Wednesday 10:30am-11:15am at Spellow Library Hub. Contact us to book.

  • Once Upon a Time

    County Children's Centre

    A magical group bring stories to life through creative activities. For ages 1 to 3 years.

    Wednesday 1pm-1.45am. Contact us to book.

  • Family Hub Club

    County Children's Centre

    After school Stay and Play session for children aged  3 to 8 years, with different themes including. Games Night, Baking, Construction and Art.

    Wednesday 3.30am-4.30pm.

     

  • Song, Story and Rhyme

    County Children's Centre

    Fun session to support speech and language development. For children up to 5 years.

    Thursday 10.30am — 11.15am. Drop in at Spellow Library Hub.

  • SWAN Group

    County Children's Centre

    Stay and play session offering information, advice and support for children with additional needs.

    Thursday 1pm-2pm. Drop in.

  • Development Matters

    County Children's Centre

    Support for any development concerns you may have about your child.

    Thursday 2pm-2.30pm. Contact us to book.

  • Navigating support

    County Children's Centre

    Do you have a child age 0–19 years or 25 years with SEND? Want to know more about what services and support are available in your local community? Come along and meet the Family Hub Navigator to find out more about the community you live in.

    Fridays 9.30am–10.30am.

  • Early Communication Group

    County Children's Centre

    Play-based targeted group offering advice and strategies to support children's communication skills.

    Friday 9.30am-10.30am. Contact us to book.

You can also attend parent and toddler activities at our partner centres, Fountains, Walton and Vauxhall.

Parenting support and advice

We provide parenting advice and support 5 days a week and advice on sleep support, SEN and getting your child ready for school. Enquire at the centre for more details.

School readiness

Is your child about to start nursery or school? Would you like some support/advice about how to help them make this transition? Call in to speak to our link workers who can support you land your child.

Infant First Aid course for parents
