Homes for Ukraine furniture packs

Ukrainians who came to Liverpool on the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine (HFU) scheme and live in social or privately-rented housing can request a free furniture pack.

The packs include furniture, white goods and flooring and are for people who are unable to access them by any other means.

We cannot offer cash or vouchers to pay for furniture or give you money for any items you have already bought.

All furniture packs are sourced, delivered and assembled by the Furniture Resource Centre.

Who can request a furniture pack?

Anyone who has arrived in Liverpool via the Homes for Ukraine Scheme can make a request for a furniture pack. This scheme is only for families hosted in Liverpool.

You must live in a property with a secure tenancy agreement. You will be asked to provide:

  • a copy of the tenancy agreement
  • proof of entry to the UK via the Homes for Ukraine Scheme

You will not be asked to show us proof of your income or any benefits you receive.

How to make a request

Before you make a request, please note that we:

  • only accept one furniture pack request per household
  • cannot change your request once we get it
  • cannot give flooring to people living in privately-rented property
  • cannot offer a specific style or design of any item

Completed forms should be emailed to homesforukraine@liverpool.gov.uk.

What happens with my data?

When you submit your request, you consent to us sharing of your information with the Furniture Resource Centre who provide the packs. This is so they can:

  • contact you about delivery
  • visit your home to deliver items or take measurements
  • carry out other tasks needed to complete your request and deliver items

What happens next?

We will send you an email to confirm that we have received your request. We may need to ask you for more information before we can process your request.

Your request will then be put on the waiting list. Requests are processed in the order we get them, and we will be in touch as soon as your items are ready.

We know there is a high demand for this kind of support in the city, but we are a small team, and we can only process requests in the order we get them. We cannot prioritise one request over another.
