Fairer, Healthier Liverpool Partnership

The Fairer, Healthier Liverpool (FHL) Partnership leads Liverpool’s local Marmot City approach. It’s a group of different organisations working together to improve the building blocks of health in the city.Their work directly supports the Liverpool Health and Wellbeing Board.

The aim of the Partnership is to create a fairer, healthier Liverpool by:

  • Driving collective action across the Marmot Eight Principles.
  • Strengthening partnerships between public, private and third sector organisations.
  • Involving communities in the identification of the drivers of poor health and in the design and implementation of actions to reduce them.
  • Monitoring what is happening locally and taking proactive, preventive action.
  • Supporting leadership and advocacy on health equity.
