Community Wellness Checks

Community Wellness Checks are available for anyone aged 18 and over. They're a quick and simple way to learn more about your health, understand some of your key health measurements and identify positive changes that could support a healthier lifestyle.
What does a Community Wellness Check include?
Our standard assessment includes the following checks:
- blood pressure
- heart rate
- height and weight
- Body Mass Index (BMI)
- body fat percentage
- heart age assessment
- personalised health information and recommendations
You'll receive your results straight after your assessment, along with clear information to help you understand what they mean. We'll also help you identify areas where small lifestyle changes could make a positive difference.
Where helpful, we'll let you know about other local activities and services that could support you, including:
- exercise classes
- health and wellbeing activities
- social and community groups
- other local support services
How do I access a Community Wellness Check?
There are different ways to access a free Community Wellness Check across the city.
Digital kiosks
Our digital kiosks provide a quick and convenient way to check some of your key health measurements yourself.
The kiosk will guide you through the process step by step and provide your results when you've completed your check. There's no need to book, simply turn up and the check takes around five minutes.
