Do you want to research your family history or the history of your house in the Liverpool area? Do you need some help with your Liverpool research?
If you're unable to come to the archive in person, we have a dedicated Research Officer who can carry out this research.
Charges
- Enquiries taking up to 30 minutes of staff time such as a search for information on Ancestry/Find My Past, or scanning a small number of documents from our collection: £16.90
- In-depth research: £28.20 per hour, up to three hours
- Consultation fee for heritage projects, conservation and archive management: £44.10 per hour
- Archive training session: £138.60 (half day)
- Cataloguing archives or collections: £275.60 per day
Submit a request
You can submit your research request online. If your request is in-depth, you will have the option to upload a document to provide us with further details. The size of the file you upload must not exceed 15mb.
What happens next?
We will contact you within 5 working days to discuss your request and associated costs.
We will also send you details on how to make your payment when we have agreed to undertake the research.
