Building Safety Levy
The Building Safety Levy is a statutory charge established by the Building Safety Levy (England) Regulations 2025. The levy applies to certain residential developments and purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) in England.
Building control applications and notices submitted on or after 1 October 2026 may be subject to the Building Safety Levy.
Liverpool levy rates
The levy is charged based on the type of land being developed.
