Family Help Hubs
In Liverpool, the Family Help Service (formerly known as Early Help Hubs) provides targeted support to children and families to help improve a family’s resilience and outcomes or reduces the chance of a problem getting worse.
Our three family help teams are led by consultant social workers who manage teams of experienced outreach staff who carry out family help assessments and team around the family support.
Each team works together with a range of professionals who support the family help offer. These professionals include the Police, children's services, health, housing, probation, adult mental health, addiction services, the Department for Work and Pensions and the School Family Support Service.
The teams work with a range of partners agencies delivering coordinated support to local children and families.
0-9 Team
This team offers intensive family support to children aged nine and under and includes support for expectant parents.
Attendance Team
This team works directly with schools to identify and support children for whom low levels of school attendance have become a concern.
Therapeutic services
