Access to Bold Street and Castle Street
As part of the Liverpool Without Walls initiative, pavement cafes are opening on Bold Street and Castle Street. As a result, both streets are closed to traffic at certain times. Read our FAQs to find out more.
Our roadworks list is updated weekly to help you plan your journey around the Liverpool area.
It includes details of road closures, events, highway improvement works and utility works at the point of publication but may not include closures or works that may be carried out at short notice.
Details of any emergency work that has a major impact on our road network will be published on Twitter @lpoolcouncil.

Major planned projects

Unfortunately, there will be short-term disruption but we’ll do everything we can to keep things moving.
