Memorial tile on Fairy Tower

A porcelain tile on the Fairy Tower in the Springwood Baby and Children's Garden is a special way to remember a beloved baby or child.

A memorial tower with close up of fairy plaques

The Fairy Tower has three sides each featuring woodland scenes inspired by storybook landscapes and the quiet beauty of nature. Rather than presenting separate memorials, the tower creates the feeling of one shared story, a place where no child is alone.

The tower is next to the rose bed that holds the ashes of babies lost before 24 weeks of pregnancy, which is lovingly cared for by Liverpool Women's Hospital.

A Fairy Tower tile:

  • includes a personalised inscription of up to 90 characters
  • can include a choice of one of 11 fairy designs
  • is kiln fired for quality and can take 8 to 10 weeks to produce
  • is available on a 5-year lease
