Freedom of information requests
We regularly receive requests for information relating to businesses and non-domestic properties under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
The most commonly requested datasets are published below, which includes a list of all business rate accounts that are disclosable as well as a list of business rate accounts that receive a relief.
These reports will be refreshed every three months. The data contained in these reports is accurate at the date of publication.
Types of data we publish
The published datasets include the names of business ratepayers (except for individuals), the address of the business premises, description of premises, rateable value, account start date and relief, where applicable.
Business rate account references are not included as these are personal to the account and may be used to verify the account holder when contacting the council.
