Selling your leasehold property

If you’re selling a leasehold property where the council is the landlord, you can request a pre-assignment, or seller’s pack (LPE1). This will contain the information you need to sell your property.

Who can use this service?

Only leaseholders/sellers or their solicitor can request a pre-assignment pack.

Solicitors acting on behalf of the leaseholder must provide a signed confirmation of authority to act and you will need to upload this with your application.

If you are a buyer or a buyer’s solicitor, please ask the seller’s solicitor to request the pre-assignment pack, as certain information is covered under data protection. If this is not possible email propertymanagementgeneral@liverpool.gov.uk to discuss further.

Cost for this service

The cost of this service is £500 and will take up to two weeks for us to process.
