Animal activity licence fees
When you apply for an animal activity licence and we have checked you have included all the relevant documentation, we will contact you to pay the relevant fee, listed below.
Additional fees for vet inspections may be required.

| Minor variation to licence (addition of one animal/species. Revisit may not be required.) | £80 |
| Major variation to licence (addition of two animals/species, revisit required. Any operator with 2 stars or below will automatically be major, revisit required. New address, revisit required to new property.) | £110 |
| Re-rating request to reassess star rating. Reinspection applies where businesses with a rating of 1-4 have accepted their rating, but have made improvements needed to address issues noted during inspection | £140 |
If additional animals are seen during renewal or interim inspections, the operator will be expected to pay for the additions (either £80 or £110).
If your application is not approved, you will receive a partial refund of £80. Application fees are non-refundable once the application process has started.
