Communities and safety

The Covenant Fund

The Covenant Fund offers grants to community projects which support members of the armed forces. Each year there is a total of £10m available. Priorities are set each year and successful projects will need to show that they fulfil them.

How to apply

Further information on the priorities, eligibility and application process can be found on the guidance page. If you have any questions which are not covered by the guidance, you can email covenant-grantteammailbox@mod.uk

Applications for grants for projects in Liverpool should also be linked to the city’s Joint Strategic Needs Assessment for Military Veterans, which forms the work plan for Liverpool’s Strategic Group for Armed Forces Communities.

Funding is limited, so only the very best projects will be successful. But remember, this is an enduring fund, so there will be future opportunities to apply.
