If you wish to remember a loved one after cremation, we offer a number of memorial options at Anfield and Springwood crematoria, which you can order and pay for online.
If you want to locate a grave within one of our cemeteries for a future visit or an imminent interment, you can request a grave search. This process is not for genealogy or family history searches.
You can request a transfer of grave ownership if you have the Exclusive Right of Burial, or wish to become the Applicant for Burial if the current owner is now deceased.
For upcoming cremations, you would normally arrange the strewing of ashes through your funeral director. However, if you have decided to strew ashes from a previous funeral, you can submit a request to scatter the ashes in Anfield or Springwood Crematoria.

If you are a memorial mason and a member of the council's Memorial Masons Charter, you can apply to erect a headstone and carry out other permitted works in Liverpool cemeteries.
You must be a member of the council's Memorial Masons Charter to carry out work within our cemeteries, and to apply for the installation of a memorial on behalf of a customer.
