Consultation on Liverpool's Draft Alcohol Strategy 2026-2031
Start date: 21st July 2026
End date: 7th August 2026
What are we consulting on?
Liverpool City Council's Public Health team and partners have developed a draft Alcohol Strategy for Liverpool. The strategy sets out how we aim to reduce alcohol-related harm and improve health and wellbeing across the city over the next five years.
The draft strategy has been developed using local data, research evidence and feedback gathered through earlier engagement with residents, communities, professionals and partner organisations.
We are now seeking views from people who live or work in Liverpool to help ensure the strategy reflects local needs and priorities. We want to know whether the strategy:
- Clearly explains alcohol-related issues in Liverpool
- Focuses on the right priorities
- Includes the right communities and population groups
- Sets out clear and achievable actions
- Identifies any important issues that may be missing
Your feedback will help us improve the strategy before it is finalised.
