Reading groups

Reading group tickets allow a group to borrow a set of 10 books free of charge for a six-week period. The books can be collected from any Liverpool library.

How does it work?

There are no reservation fees. There are no restrictions or limitations to who can start or join reading groups, other than age-related for specific children’s groups. 

Each group must have a nominated lead who must provide full contact details. It would be prudent to have a back-up member who can also be contacted.

The nominated reading group facilitator or lead should allow as much time as possible when ordering a reading group set.

The group leader should order one set of books for each session and return all books before collecting the next set.

Groups are encouraged to return all books from previous loans before new sets are issued.
We also encourage children and teenagers to start reading groups.

When joining, you will be asked if we can contact you by email for marketing purposes only, for example, if we have an author talk.

Search for and reserve sets of books for reading groups
