Infrastructure funding statement (IFS)
We must publish an infrastructure funding statement annually in accordance with the government's Community Infrastructure Levy Regulation 121A.
The IFS helps local communities and developers see how section 106 contributions have been spent and understand what future funds will be spent on, ensuring a transparent and accountable system.
Section 106 agreements (planning obligations) are private agreements made between local authorities and developers as part of the planning process. They are used to limit the impacts of new development and to make development acceptable in line with council and Central Government planning policy.
Each statement covers the period 1st April to 31st March and must be published by 31st December.
