Customer notice: Online Citizen Portal

On Monday 16th March we will be carrying out essential maintenance to our Citizen Portal. This means you will not be able to access online services for school admissions, school travel support, free school meals or the childcare eligibility checker. We aim to be back online from 17th March.

Before completing your school admissions application online

Remember you can only apply online for a Primary Reception place or Year 7 Secondary place.

  • Have you read the admissions policy and criteria for each of the schools you want to apply for?
  • Have you downloaded any supplementary forms (where applicable) ready to send directly to your selected schools?

If you can answer ‘yes’ to all of the above, then you are ready to register and apply online.

You only need to make one application listing all the schools in order of preference. After the closing date, we must follow the process for late applications - see Closing dates and late applications for more information.
