Get involved - join a group

Join the communities that already play an active role in cleaning up our city. Volunteer groups carry out regular litter picks and clean-ups.

Tell us about your event

If your group is holding a clean-up event, we can help to promote it.

Want to organise a litter pick?

If you want to organise a litter pick you will need to consider:

  • where you want to clean-up
  • any permissions you may need
  • the equipment you need
  • what to do with the litter you collect
  • how to keep your group safe

Need to order equipment?

Keep Liverpool Tidy may be able loan your group equipment for a community clean-up - equipment includes hand-held litter pickers, bag hoops, refuse sacks and high visibility vests.
