Not received your sticker?

Collection of sharps bins
Sharps bins are available on prescription from your GP or healthcare provider. To set up a regular collection service for your sharps bin, please contact your GP.
Your GP will contact the council with the relevant details and you will receive a letter informing you of your collection dates. We are unable to provide a collection time.
Please ensure that the sharps box is securely locked and your name and address are written on the container before giving it to the driver.
If you have lost the details of your collection dates, contact 0151 233 3001.
What goes in my sharps bin?
You can use your sharps bin to dispose of clinical waste such as:
- lancets used with finger-pricking devices
After you've used the above items they must be placed in the sharps bin immediately - do not try to take them out again. Used needles must not be bent or broken before disposal and must not be recapped.
