Upload evidence to your Council Tax account
Sometimes, we might ask you to provide supporting evidence in relation to your Council Tax account. For example, if you have applied for a certain discount or exemption or if we need proof of your financial situation.
Examples of the types of documents we may request include:
- Bank statements
- Payslips or a financial statement
- A student certificate
- A signed declaration from a GP or medical practitioner
If we have asked you to provide evidence to us, you can do this online - even if you don't manage your Council Tax account online.
Take a photo or scan of the original document, clearly showing the details we have requested. Files we accept include:
- gif
- jpeg/jpg
- png
- tiff
Upload your files
When you enter the system below, scroll to the bottom of the page and select 'Upload my evidence'.
You will need your Council Tax account number to hand, which you will find on your latest bill. You will also need to enter your address.
