Processing permit applications

Your permit will be issued within 28 days as long as you have submitted the required supporting documentation with your application - please don't call to check on its progress. We will reject applications if the required documents are missing. 

Request a replacement parking permit

If you have lost your permit or it has been damaged or stolen you can request a replacement.

A £32 administration fee will be charged to issue a replacement for lost permits.

If the permit has been stolen we will issue a duplicate free of charge if you provide a valid crime reference number, details of the police officer or station, and the relevant contact number.

Resident and business permits are valid for a period of 12 months; you may amend the permit for a change of vehicle once within that period free of charge. Further amendments due to a change of vehicle within the 12-month period will carry a charge of £32.00.

You will need to know your permit number and PIN. These would have been sent to you with confirmation of your original application.

If you no longer have this information, please contact Parking Services and request a new PIN and application number, which will allow you to apply online.
