Maths courses

We run a number of maths courses for adults over 19 years of age. Depending on your circumstances, these courses may be free of charge.

Functional skills maths

We have courses at all levels from Entry 1 to Level 2. This course will help you with maths skills and cover:

  • using numbers and the number system
  • using common measures
  • shapes and space
  • handling data and information

Learners will need to demonstrate mathematical knowledge and skills and apply this to solve mathematical problems. This is a national qualification which will help you progress on to GCSE.

GCSE maths

We offer GCSE foundation and higher levels. This qualification is for higher level learners. You must pass the skills check to join this course. We can offer you other courses if you are not ready for GCSE.

Applications for this course are currently closed, but we will be assessing for a pre-GCSE course which starts in June 2025.
