The fees below do not include the cost of giving notice, marriage or civil partnership certificates, or venue hire if you are marrying at an approved venue. See the registration and certificates page for details on issuing and paying for certificates.

The following costs include your chosen room at Liverpool Register Office, the registrar to conduct your ceremony and one certificate.

Statutory ceremony
- Tuesday and Wednesday before 11am - £68.50
Enhanced ceremony
Grand Jury, Sefton and Concert Rooms
- Monday to Thursday: £315
- Friday and Saturday: £360
- Sundays and bank holidays: £375
Approved venues
The following costs are for the registrar to conduct your ceremony at your chosen approved venue and one certificate.
Ceremonies up to 5pm
- Monday to Thursday: £445
- Friday: £470
- Saturday: £530
- Sundays and bank holidays: £630
Ceremonies after 5.15pm
- Monday to Sunday: £630
