Ceremony prices

The fees below do not include the cost of giving notice, marriage or civil partnership certificates, or venue hire if you are marrying at an approved venue. See the registration and certificates page for details on issuing and paying for certificates.

Liverpool Register Office

The following costs include your chosen room at Liverpool Register Office, the registrar to conduct your ceremony and one certificate.

Statutory ceremony

• Monday to Thursday before 11am - £68.50 

Enhanced ceremony

Grand Jury, Sefton and Concert Rooms

• Monday to Thursday: £275 (£290 from 1st April 2025)
• Friday and Saturday: £315 (£335 from 1st April 2025)
• Sundays and bank holidays £330 (£350 from 1st April 2025)

Approved venues

The following costs are for the registrar to conduct your ceremony at your chosen approved venue and one certificate.

Ceremonies up to 5pm

• Monday to Thursday: £395 (£415 from 1st April 2025)
• Friday: £425 (£440 from 1st April 2025)
• Saturday: £475 (£500 from 1st April 2025)
• Sundays and bank holidays: £565 (£595 from 1st April 2025)

Ceremonies after 5.15pm

• Monday to Sunday: £565 (£595 from 1st April 2025)
