Greenbank Park is a beautiful, tranquil park with an elegant, placid lake. It boasts mature trees and conservation area, stone bridge at the northern end of the park and football pitches

An angling permit is required to fish in park lakes.

How to get here

Access to the park is via Greenbank Road, Greenbank Lane and Gorsebank Road (off Smithdown Road).

So that everyone can enjoy our parks and open spaces we have policies and byelaws in place which cover:

  • Protection of the ground, its wildlife and the public
  • Horses, cycles and vehicles
  • Play areas, games and sports
  • Waterways
  • Model aircraft

Byelaws are local laws made by the council, which means we can issue penalties and act to protect property and individuals.
