Open days and assessments in September 2026
There will be no open or assessment days for ESOL learners as we currently have a waiting list.
If you are interested in any other subject, come along to one of our open days in September 2026, talk to our tutors and have an assessment for a course starting in September 2026.
You will need to allow yourself time to take a BKSB assessment or a written assessment to place you on the right course.
- Wednesday 2nd September 2026: Park Road ALS from 10am-1pm and 5-7pm
- Thursday 3rd September 2026: Granby Street ALS from 10am-1pm and 5-7pm
- Friday 4th September 2026: Norris Green ALC from 10am-1pm
- Monday 7th September 2026: Newsham ALC from 10am-1pm and 5-7pm
- Friday 11th September: Norris Green ALC from 10am-1pm, This centre will only be offering for English, Maths Digital Skills, beauty courses, complementary therapies on this day.

What happens at an open and assessment day?
You can talk to tutors and have an assessment for our September 2026 courses which include:
- Maths
- English
- Digital skills
- Skills for work – interpreting, catering, and garment making
- Vocational courses – beauty courses, complementary therapies
- Working in schools – caring for children, preparing to work in schools, and supporting teaching and learning
