• Playgrounds and play areas The council operates 43 outdoor play areas across the city. These are located in parks, recreation grounds and open spaces. Some also have multi-use game areas and skateboard parks.
• Park runs and walks Explore the beauty of Liverpool parks with a walk or run in the park.
• Park events and activities Small regular events taking place in our parks and green spaces, plus our education programme.
• Parks friends groups Serving our local communities, these spaces have a range of amenities and are primarily used for active recreation
• Angling You must obtain a permit from the council to fish in park lakes.
• Parks maintenance and enquiries If you spot damaged equipment, dangerous trees or other park issues, please tell us.
• Dogs in public spaces We want everyone to enjoy our parks, including dogs! But there are some areas within our parks and open spaces where dogs are not allowed, or must be kept on a lead.
• Parks dos and don'ts So that everyone can enjoy our parks and open spaces we have policies and byelaws in place which are enforced by City Watch.
