This 111 acre park is Grade II* listed with major historic features. The park is famous for dividing the home grounds of Liverpool and Everton Football Clubs. An angling permit is required if fishing in park lakes.

A car park is located at the Anfield Road end of the park.

Playground

The playground features swings, multi-play area, roundabout and see-saw, suitable for young children.

From the structural beauty of the grand sandstone pavilions to pretty rose gardens and wildlife habitats, there's lots to explore at this Green Flag and Green Heritage award winning park.

Bandstand

The fairytale bandstand plays host to events such as the Liverpool Bandstand Festival.

Isla Gladstone

Parks byelaws

So that everyone can enjoy our parks and open spaces we have policies and byelaws in place which cover:

  • Protection of the ground, its wildlife and the public
  • Horses, cycles and vehicles
  • Play areas, games and sports
  • Waterways
  • Model aircraft

Byelaws are local laws made by the council, which means we can issue penalties and act to protect property and individuals.
